Research priorities

  • Reconstruction of socio-economic society-structures based on chronological and chorological analysis on sources from migration period graves and early medieval burial grounds
  • Reconstruction of technological and cultural traditions, limited to a restricted area based on laboratory analyses on archaeological finds
  • Technological and archaeological analyses on textiles and other organic artefacts
