• 2011: PhD Graduation at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Hamburg. Thesis: The bone and antler tools from the Feddersen Wierde. Use-wear analysis of tools from the Roman Iron Age to the Middle Ages and ethnoarchaeological comparison

• Laboratory analysis of archaeological finds for the reconstruction of technology and traditions

• Pottery traditions of Early Medieval shell-tempered pottery in northwestern Central Europe
• Pottery traditions as a mirror of social structures of the 5^th and 4^th millennium BC in northern Central Europe
