A 3D viewer for the Küstenmuseum

For the "Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft" in Wilhelmshaven last year, an interactive 3D viewer was created that makes features and finds even more tangible for visitors. Models of excavations of the tom Brok castle in Aurich, but also excavations at megalithic tombs can be seen there. But also objects such as an animal vessel, a spindle whorl or a Viking-age ship's frame can be viewed from all directions. Each 3D model is accompanied by a description and further information on the circumstances of the find. Since the viewer was very popular during the "Lange Nacht", it will now be made available to the Küstenmuseum for the times between public events and integrated into the exhibition there.
