Three in a row

In the "Relicts under the bog" project, excavations and drilling are finally continuing. This summer, the focus is on several megalithic tombs lined up in a row, some of whose capstones protrude only a few centimeters from the bog. In order to be able to recognize the architectural structure and thus to be able to make comparisons with the other graves in the region, the graves are uncovered and documented. The digging of the chambers is not on the agenda. Furthermore, further corings are made to condense the data for the reconstruction of the paleo landscape. More news and information from the excavation can be found on our blog.
